German Apple Pancake

3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 T. butter

Filling:
2 T. butter
1 lb. Tart apples
¼ c. brown sugar
cinnamon
nutmeg

Beat eggs, milk, flour and salt until very smooth. In 12 inch pie pan melt butter. When it is hot, pour in batter. Bake for 15 minutes at 450 F. Lower temperature to 350 F and bake 10 more minutes. While it is baking saute apples in butter until tender. Add sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Fill pancake with apples.
